See Me Fly produces a dominant win from the clouds at Bendigo, steered to victory by Damien Thornton.
The talented son of Sebring made it career win #5 and showed there’s plenty more wins in store particularly over the wetter months. Talent can also bring frustration which has been the case with the get back and run on style of See Me Fly but when he gets conditions to suit and a patient ride he’s a wonderfully talented horse on his day.

The $60,000 Magic Millions purchase has become a stable stalwart and with two wins this season – last Friday and a metropolitan win on AFL Grand Final day – he’s doing a fantastic job for his owners now taking his career earnings through the $100k barrier.
“He’s always been a talent and incredibly we bought him believing he’d make a lovely stayer as his half-sister ran in a Melbourne Cup” said FLR’s Tim Wilson. “Physically, he’s got a sprinters physique and pedigrees can play tricks on you but he’s doing a great job for everyone involved even if it’s not quite in the way we first expected”
A terrific ride from Damien Thornton helped get the job done and the impressive young rider was always confident on Friday.
“He always felt the winner and went past them pretty quickly. He just wandered when hitting the front so while the win was comfortable there’s still a few more lengths in him”
Thornton and See Me Fly will cross the border next start and head to Morphettville next Saturday looking to make it back to back wins for the Ellerton Zahra trained galloper. See Me Fly joins Nasdex and Linguist as multiple winners this season trained the boys at Flemington who continue to do a terrific job for FLR owners.
